Born out of profound personal loss, this project is my way of working through grief, memory, and healing using one of the earliest photographic methods: the handmade calotype. Each image is created slowly and intentionally using 19th-century chemistry, vintage soft-focus lenses, and my own two hands. There are no shortcuts—only light, paper, and emotional truth.

With every calotype, I explore themes of Resilience, Transformation, and Connection through the ephemeral life cycle of flowers. These images are not about documentation. They are about meaning. They are quiet visual poems—imperfect, atmospheric, and deeply human.
